Drag through time
A chart can contain more history than the screen can show. Moving to another part of that history is called panning.
The chart starts with Candle B visible. Candle A formed on 15 May 2023, but it is outside the visible area. You need to move back through the price history to find it.
To reveal older candles, drag the chart to the right. Use the mouse on a computer or one finger on a touchscreen. Drag the chart to the left when you want to return to newer candles.
Watch the time axis while you drag. Earlier dates appear as you move towards older price history. The candles keep the same order, prices, and one-day interval. Only the visible part of the chart changes.
Your task is to reveal Candle A. You can use several short drags. If you move too far, drag the chart in the opposite direction.
When Candle A appears, compare its date with Candle B. You have moved to an earlier part of the same Apple chart.
Reveal Candle A
Drag the chart towards the right until Candle A appears.
